The songs chosen for each concert are selected with the combined input from the children and the music committee of the Columbus Kinderchor.  The choir begins rehearsals in early August and rotates new music into its repertoire each year. Music is chosen based on the current member's singing interests, familiarity with the German language and energy. The choir is very flexible and able to accommodate new songs mid-season, if appropriate.

Kalinka, A Song of Two Red Berries, based on a Russian Folktale
Ist das nicht ein Kurz und Lang?, an American-German popular song intended to increase vocabulary
Oh, Teach me How to Yodel, Folksong, yodeled by the boys of the choir
Auf einen Baum ein Kuckoo sass, Folksong, call and response
So Long, Farewell, Rodgers and Hammerstein II
